Downer & Company hires M&A director to build Europe business

Downer & Company, the US-based investment banking boutique, has hired Karine Curtis Osorovitz, a former Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) banker, to work in the Paris office.

Curtis Osorovitz was a director at DrKW, and she was previously a director at Wasserstein Perella, which DrKW took over. She was at Wasserstein Perella for eight years, during which time she ran the then-fledgling Paris office. She mainly works on the origination of mergers and acquisitions deals, for companies that included Alcatel, the French communications equipment manufacturer, and TotalFinaElf, the French energy group.
