Dresdner sells part of Asian loan portfolio

Dresdner Bank has sold more of its €34bn ($40bn) bad and non-strategic loans from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia through auction.

The €125m ($146m) portfolio was sold recently for an undisclosed sum in an auction which attracted 15 bidders who were allowed to select individual assets rather than bid for the whole portfolio.
