Dresdner settles over sex bias claims

Dresdner Kleinwort has settled a billion-dollar sex discrimination lawsuit brought by former female employees in its New York office.

A lawyer for the six women who brought a $1.4bn (€1bn) lawsuit alleging sex discrimination confirmed that the bank settled the case, according to a German newspaper report in Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Details of the settlement were not disclosed other than that the bank said it was not liable.
