Dresdner Kleinwort Benson has appointed Andrew Lockhart as its new head of equity research in Frankfurt.

Lockhart, who has been head of German small and midcap company research since July 1999, will replace Roger Hirst, who has left Dresdner Bank to 'pursue other opportunities', according to a statement by the firm.
