Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has recruited Carlyle Peake to fill the role of head of emerging markets debt syndicate in London, vacant since the departure of Chris Luth, who quit to join ABN Amro's US corporate syndicate desk last August.
A source close to DrKW said the delay in replacing Luth was justified by the fact that the majority of emerging market debt is issued in the first half of the year, which meant that there was no urgent need to fill the syndicate role last year.
