Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has reduced its media research coverage in London and will make five media analysts redundant including Chris Collett, who headed the team.

It is uncertain how long coverage has been suspended for. A source close to the situation said that the bank will still cover some media sub-sectors, including broadcasters and internet companies, with less analysts.
