The emerging companies team of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), run by Ishbel Macpherson, is set to secure its third mergers and acquisitions mandate in three weeks.

The bank is corporate broker to Chrysalis Group, the UK media company in negotiations with a management buy-in group to sell its television division. The bank is also broker to Selfridges, the UK retailer, which said on April 9 it had received a takeover approach.
