DTZ Corporate Finance, the property specialist, has recruited a head of mergers and acquisitions as part of an aggressive hiring spree that could see the firm double in size.

The group took on Chris Nicolle, former head of asset-backed industries at Hawkpoint Partners, to run a team focusing on M&A, flotations and public-to-private transactions.
