Dubai hedge funds grow 72% as leading names flock to the Middle East

Dubai’s hedge fund ecosystem continues to grow amid a wave of financial firms flocking to the emirate to cash in on lower taxes.

Dubai has boosted the number of hedge funds operating from its finance hub to 85 as of 30 June, up 72% from 50 in June 2024, according to a 28 July announcement by the Dubai International Financial Centre.
