Dutch fund fails to boost assets via cooperation talks

The breakdown of a co-operation agreement between the Nfl 110bn (€50bn) PGGM Dutch healthcare sector fund, and the Nfl 25bn Doctors' pension fund, halts PGGM's early ambitions of boosting assets by over 22%.

PGGM, which is already the second largest pension fund in the Netherlands and one of the largest in Europe, wants to pool or manage assets for third party funds as well as co-operate on other levels.
