EBA leader appointed as CEO of banking body Afme

Adam Farkas has been picked to succeed Simon Lewis at the body lobbying on behalf of financial services

The executive director of the European Banking Authority has been named as the next chief executive of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, the voice of banks in the region.

Afme confirmed the hire of Adam Farkas in a statement on September 17. News of his likely appointment had earlier been reported by Sky News.
