ECI Partners, a UK mid-market buyout firm, has snapped up majority control of online media company i-level Group in a rare crossover deal between private equity and venture capital firms.
ECI has bought a 60% stake in i-level at an £45m (â¬57.7m) enterprise valuation from the founders, business angels, and family office and venture capital firm Beringea, which owned 20%.
