London-based buyout firm ECI Partners has sold its stake in catering and events company Rhubarb to fellow buyout house Livingbridge.

Livingbridge fought off competition from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Bank, which was also interested in purchasing the business. LDC decided to stop bidding as it felt the price was getting too high, FN's sister publication Private Equity News reported previously.
