EDF turns to Deutsche to evaluate Seeboard bid

Electricité de France (EdF) is understood to have turned to Deutsche Bank to evaluate an initial bid for UK electricity company Seeboard being auctioned off by its parent AEP, the largest US power company.

AEP has hired ABN Amro and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney to handle the Seeboard sale that could fetch up to £1.5bn (€2.4bn), utility analysts said.
