Edward Bonham Carter, the former chief executive of listed fund management group Jupiter, has joined challenger wealth manager Netwealth as its chair.

Bonham Carter, one of the City's most recognisable figures, last year announced he would step down as vice-chair of Jupiter at the company's annual shareholder meeting later this year.
