Edwards and Ermotti to head Merrill's global equity markets

Jeffrey Edwards and Sergio Ermotti are to become co-heads of Merrill Lynch's global equity markets group replacing Paul Roy, who was recently promoted to co-head of the corporate and institutional client group.

Edwards and Ermotti will share responsibility for the firm's equity and equity-linked trading, sales and underwriting on a global basis.
