Eggleton takes charge of emerging markets

Merrill Lynch has hired Michael Eggleton, previously with Credit Suisse First Boston, to become head of central and eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa investment banking, a position created to add a new focus on emerging markets.

Eggleton spent nine years at CSFB where he was a managing director in the emerging markets group. He joined them from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
