HSBC has hired Sean Dennis, Thomas Delzoppo and Simon Sadler and promoted five others to its equities sales and trading team as part of the restructuring of the division. It said further appointments are expected shortly.

HSBC's cash equities sales and trading business was integrated with its global markets business last September and a strategic review was completed early this year.
