Investors should be wary of finding themselves spread across a variety of new asset classes following recent rallies in global markets, Allianz chief economic adviser Mohamed El-Erian has warned.

The prominent economist said that although the recovery on Wall Street in the wake of the pandemic is promising, it could lead to portfolios being too broad as investors head into 2021 and face the policy changes that the new year will bring.
