City hiring has stalled ahead of tomorrow's general election, according to the latest figures from recruiter Morgan McKinley, with Brexit no longer the chief drag on recruitment activity.

The number of financial services job vacancies in UK financial services stayed flat month-on-month in May, while year-on-year there was an 11% drop, according to Morgan McKinley’s monthly London Employment Monitor.
