One of the most senior electronic trading specialists at RBS, and an architect of Credit Suisse’s leading algorithmic trading franchise, has left the UK bank.

Maria Netley, RBS' European head of client electronic execution, left the state-backed lender last week, according to sources familiar with the situation.
