Staff working at the London office of activist firm Elliott Management Corporation are edging closer to £1m in average annual pay.

Elliott Advisors' 79 employees earned £835,000 on average last year, up from the £729,000 average earned by its 72 employees in 2015, according to the company’s latest accounts.
