City of London workers hoping France's new "right to disconnect" from work emails rule will inspire UK lawmakers shouldn't hold their breath, according to legal experts.

The so-called "droit de déconnexion", which came into force on January 1, applies to French companies with 50 or more staff and defends employees’ rights to leave emails untouched outside working hours.
