The past six months have been one of those rare dream periods for the emerging market bond sector when borrowers and lenders have been equally enthusiastic to participate in new issues.

Sovereign and corporate borrowers have been queuing up to raise money, lured in by the prospect of being able to do so at interest rates that are lower than most in the market can ever remember.
