Emerging markets to shape trading in 2011

Banks, brokers and infrastructure providers look to Asia-Pacific and Latin America for growth

Developments in Asia-Pacific and Latin America will be among the most important structural trends shaping trading this year, as Western markets struggle to cope with low volumes, regulatory pressure and anti-bank sentiment, according to agency broker Instinet.

Instinet believes China, Brazil and Japan will be among the countries grabbing the attention of banks, brokers and infrastructure providers this year. The forecasts are contained in the broker's 2011 trend predictions.
