Friends Ivory & Sime has been appointed by the UK's Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union pension fund to manage its £60m (€96m) socially responsible investment mandate.

The multi-asset discretionary mandate will also involve the use of Friends Ivory & Sime's Socially Responsible Engagement Overlay model - an additional service that engages companies to adopt best practice on social, environmental, and ethical issues once FIS has invested with them.
