Swedish investment bank SEB Enskilda has hired a senior banker to head its mergers and acquisitions division in London and wants to recruit at least four more in equity capital markets, M&A and equity sales after losses in the sector.

Sami Miettinen will join in July from Finnish lender Pöyry, where he was a director focusing on corporate finance. His role will be M&A director with a focus on forestry.
