German bank’s new-look corporate and investment bank is in the black, despite most business lines posting falling revenues

Deutsche Bank saw falling revenues in most of its trading and investment banking business lines during the second quarter – but nonetheless posted a rise in profits at its new-look corporate and investment bank.

The German bank reported that group net profits of €466m for the period rose from just €20m a year ago, despite a 10% drop in revenues to €6.6bn.
