Ernst & Young adds two for private equity

Ernst & Young, the accountancy firm, has appointed two new partners for its private equity business, as the Big Four accounting firms try to increase their share of advisory work in the sector.

The firm's commercial advisory practice has hired Harry Nicholson, who spent 20 years at LEK Consulting, a strategic consultancy firm. He was made a partner of LEK in 1997 and recently focused on private equity clients.
