Davos delegates see climate crisis first-hand in unusually warm Swiss resort

As politicians, executives, and bankers head to Europe’s highest mountains, they may see fewer blindingly white peaks than in the past

While climate change has long been a recurring theme at Davos, the global leaders who attend likely will see the effects from their hotel rooms this year.

For the first winter in three years, the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting is returning to the Swiss resort. Last year’s gathering took place in May thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.
