ESpeed, the Nasdaq-listed electronic dealing network, has hired an information technology specialist from Bloomberg as its chief information officer.

Yevette Tierney formerly worked in product development, client service and operations management, and infrastructure at the media firm. Her responsibilities included developing software applications and managing Bloomberg's technology platform.
