The most senior figure to leave Espirito Santo Investment Bank as part of a team raid by Liberum Capital this summer has formally brought over his first client.

Peter Tracey, who started as head of investment banking at Liberum on Tuesday, was named as a corporate broker to Vertu Motors, an Aim-listed car retailer with a market cap of £185 million, in a stock exchange announcement this morning.
