ETF assets climb above $2 trillion

A surge of investment in the S&P 500 earlier this week tipped exchange-traded funds over the milestone figure

ETF.com said a rush of almost $14 billion into US-stock funds on Monday - with most of that going into the SPDR S&P 500 - tipped industry assets over the milestone figure.
