European exchanges experienced their highest trading turnover in exchange-traded funds for more than 18 months in June, when uncertainty over a solution to the Eurozone crisis plagued the market.

Trading turnover totalled €45.4bn across European exchanges for the month, the highest trading value since November 2011 when turnover reached €48.8bn, according to a Deutsche Bank European monthly ETP landscape report.
