ETFS founder plots US hiring spree

The founder and chairman of ETF Securities, which opened a US office staffed by three people last month, has told Financial News he believes its presence in the country will grow to be larger than its European operations within a couple of years.

Graham Tuckwell, who launched ETF Securities in 2003, said that his group will offer investors in the US access to a platform of commodities exchange-traded products. The group's first US-listed ETF began trading a week ago.
