The online broker eToro has started a new crypto exchange, a move that comes as the price of the largest digital currency, bitcoin, has staged a modest recovery following a disastrous 2018.

The launch marks Israel-based eToro’s entry into the competitive arena of cryptocurrency exchanges, which allow traders to buy and sell digital currencies such as bitcoin and ether, as well as other crypto-assets.
