E*Trade Group, the US parent to online broker E*Trade UK, has entered into an agreement with consultant Ernst & Young to offer financial planning advice for online investors.

Under the signed letter of intent E*Trade, the second biggest online broker in the US, and Ernst & Young, the third-largest accounting and consulting firm, will establish a $50m (€54m) venture to provide financial advice for investors trading in the US.
