ETrade Securities, the electronic brokerage firm, has accelerated its efforts to offer independent research following a shift in the way fund managers pay for broker services.

The firm has signed an agreement with independent research firm Redeye to provide its clients with research on technology, media, telecom and biotech companies in the Nordic region.
