EU banking watchdog confirms new Paris HQ

EBA expects to move to the Europlaza tower in April

The European Banking Authority, the regulatory body that oversees banks across the European Union, has confirmed details of its new headquarters after drawn-out wrangling over its departure from London.

In the wake of the UK’s vote to leave the EU, governments in the bloc chose Paris as the new home for the EBA, which is based in London’s Canary Wharf.
