The European Commission is searching for top securities markets experts to sit on a new panel that will examine the EU's markets directives and recommend any necessary changes.

The European Securities Markets Expert Group will be in place by next month and will consist of up to 20 practitioners with experience in the securities industry drawn from business and academia.
