EU exchanges to offer multi-currency ETFs

LSE joins Euronext in offering ETFs denominated in Chinese and Hong Kong currencies in a bid to reduce currency risk

Two of Europe’s largest stock exchange groups plan to launch multi-currency trading for exchange-traded funds in moves designed to reduce currency risk and attract more Asian investors to European markets.

The London Stock Exchange said it plans to give issuers the option of offering their ETFs in Hong Kong dollars and Chinese yuan during this quarter.
