The European Union plans to extend a temporary deal allowing UK clearing houses can remain open to EU banks for another three years.

Having struck a time-limited accord in the wake of Brexit to allow trades to be keep being cleared in London's dominant market in the wake of Brexit, European commissioner Mairead McGuinness said she will now propose an extension up to June 2025.
