EU starts legal action against UK for breaking Brexit withdrawal agreement

The European Union is set to begin to take legal action against the UK today, for its attempt to amend the law governing its exit from the trading bloc.

The EU last month threatened to sue the UK if it did not row back from its vow to break international law by doctoring the terms of its exit agreement by October.
