Eurex, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange is to re-launch and expand its family of Italian equity index options, in a bid become the leading European equity options exchange.

Eurex is already the largest European equity options exchange in turnover value, but is outpaced by Euronext.Liffe in individual contract turnover.
