Eurex, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange, has extended a fee holiday on its newly-launched Italian equity index contracts in a final bid to wrest business away from the local exchange, Idem.
The move comes after Eurex failed to win market share in the coveted contracts last month, when the exchange first waived its fees.
