Euroclear invests in blockchain venture backed by UBS, Barclays and Nasdaq

Clearing house Euroclear announced an investment in an international consortium of financial institutions seeking to build a payment and settlement system using tokenised assets and Distributed Ledger Technology.

The Belgium-based clearing house said it will join Fnality, a consortium that includes BNY Mellon, Credit Suisse, UBS, Barclays and the Nasdaq exchange.
