Euronext in talks to acquire Greek stock exchange

Paris-based bourse owner weighs adding eighth country to exchange network

Euronext is in talks to acquire the Greek stock exchange in what would be the latest in a slew of deals made by Europe’s biggest bourse operator in recent years.

Paris-based Euronext said it is in discussions with the board of Hellenic Exchanges, which owns the Athens Stock Exchange, about a possible all-share offer valuing the business at €399m.
