The head of markets and global sales at Euronext is leaving to lead a London-based proprietary trading firm, in the latest high-level switch at the European exchange group.

Lee Hodgkinson will leave the exchange in early April to lead OSTC, Euronext said in a statement on Thursday. He had been singled out in some circles as a potential successor to Xavier Rolet as the chief executive of the London Stock Exchange Group, according to industry sources.
