Euronext.liffe, the London-based derivatives exchange, has uncovered a technical issue with some of its market data which could affect the opening prices of contracts on its market until December.

A spokeswoman for the exchange said: "There is a software bug that could affect one of the minor feeds that goes to data vendors."
