Property investment bosses in large European cities are cheering their wins, many made at London’s expense, as they gather in the south of France for one of the biggest events on the property industry’s calendar.

About 24,000 people will descend on Cannes for the annual Mipim real estate conference between March 12 and 15. With a series of key votes on the UK’s exit from the European Union taking place in London over the week, Brexit is expected to be a hot topic on the Riviera; a panel on the opening day of Mipim will discuss how international investors might view UK property after the country leaves the bloc.
